Four Ways To Collect Music
Years ago, our parents used to listen to music recorded on huge black circles known as records. During those times they still don't have CD players and MP3 players; instead, what they have are old school radios also known as boom boxes.
In order for them to be able to listen to their favorite songs, they will have to buy a record or a cassette tape or listen to the radio. For years, this has been the only means for people to be able to listen to their songs or for them to dance to the music.
Since then, the ways to spread music has continued to evolve. Children of all ages have come to love the different types of music. Now we see people of all ages with earphones plugged into their ears listening to their favorite songs while doing their everyday tasks.
Listening to the radio might be a good option but then you cannot tell the DJ to play just one song over and over again simply because you want to listen to it. Songs we hear on the radio are played at random; it would be hard to predict when our favourite song will be played.
There are a lot of songs in the market that are widely available. Too many that we cannot possibly listen to all of them. If you want to have a private collection of your favourite music here are some ways to acquire them.
1. Internet. Today it is hard to imagine what the internet cannot do. If you don't have enough time to go to the mall and shop for music then you can always purchase them online. There are a lot of music websites that sell songs by track or even a whole album. All you have to do is to register to these sites and of course have your credit card ready and you are good to go.
2. Music Shops. If you don't like staying in front of the computer and looking for music tracks then you can always check out the nearest local music shop in your area. These shops are usually filled with CDs and tapes of your favourite artists and their latest albums.
3. Specialty Shops. If you are into collecting songs from the 50s, 60s or 70s then you might want to check out some specialty shops instead of the local music shops. Songs from years gone by are considered standards or classics and albums containing these songs may be hard to come by especially in local music stores. Specialty shops cater to customers with special needs so you might want to drop by some specialty shops that focus on old school classics. Who knows you might find that classic song you are looking for there.
4. Bluetooth. In case you haven't noticed most high end cellphones are equipped with this feature. The Bluetooth allows file transfer from one cellphone to another without having to pay anything. Using your phone's Bluetooth feature you can transfer music files from your friend's cellphone to your phone and you can transfer as many files as you can as long as you have enough memory on your phone to accommodate all the music files you just transferred.
Having your own personal collection of your favorite music will allow you to listen to it all day and all night long.
