Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Love It Or Leave It?
Well, we definitely have to say that we love the newest Star Wars cartoon series that's been released in Cartoon Network. It's quite understandable that Star Wars fans definitely have an “unsatisfied” and “lacking” feel to the star wars saga. Well, that's quite true. It's because there is so much to be told in the Star Wars universe that it's got George Lucas scrambling to get all of these ideas into working progress for all of his fans to love and appreciate.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars features the seemingly deadlocked war between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist forces. With both sides being led respectively by the Galactic Senate and Count Dooku, you'll find that war has never looked this good in CGI. So why do we love the newest star wars animated series? Here are a couple of reasons for that.
1. It features familiar faces like Master Skywalker and Master Kenobi and all their faithful clones.
So you're a big Jedi and light saber fan eh? Well you've just struck gold with this series. That's because now, the force has it's own animated television show that portrays the never ending battle between good and evil being spearheaded by the Jedi and the Sith. Take your pick at several Jedi being featured in this cartoon. And of course, it is already expected and should be common knowledge that Obi Wan and Anakin are mainstays in this series.
Oh, did we mention as well that there are also new and refreshing faces being added in to the mix? Of course, fan favorites R2D2 and our ever so clueless C3PO are also frequent characters in this series. Did we mention representative Binks is also in it?
2. If you're a big storm trooper fan, then you're just in luck.
If you remember, the original Star Wars saga had only featured Bobba Fett for nearly a few minutes but that character had a lasting effect on fans across the world. Maybe this is George Lucas' way of giving back to the fans by showing an entirely new Star Wars universe that features Storm Troopers now that they're getting what they deserve, some much needed attention.
Characters like Captain Rex and Commander Cody are one of the very many clones here that do not come short on action and some screen time. And as always, their armor is definitely very, very cool. Hello, fan boys.
3. It's a great way to start being a fan of the Star Wars brand.
So you're too young to appreciate all the entire Star Wars saga; well it's a great way to start getting acquainted with timeless characters by watching this series. Well actually, it's advisable that you should watch episodes I and II of the Star Wars saga first before you start watching this series so you would have a better understanding of how these events had transpired. The Star Wars universe is broad and full of danger lurking in almost every corner. Now who doesn't crave from some blasters blazing and light sabers doing that whizzing sound?
