Three Reasons Why Watching The G. I. Joe Cartoon Again Would Be A Good Idea

If you happen to be a huge cartoon fan, you might find that there are very many good cartoons out there that have been created more than a decade ago that's worth watching all over. Sure the animation may not be up to par as the latest ones, but there's something about these cartoons that just can't seem to be beat by new ones.

One good cartoon of the good old days is G.I. Joe. If you can still remember all those immensely entertaining episodes and even movies of battles between the Joes and Cobra, you'll find that it's quite easy to remember why you fell in love with this cartoon in the first place. So fast forward to the present, why should we watch G.I. Joe once more? Well, here are a couple of reasons why.

1. For starters, the motion picture of G.I. Joe is coming out.

To those who have stayed true to the cause of the Joes, it wouldn't be that hard to start watching this awesome series one more time. After all, this is one of the very few cartoons that is of epic proportions. It doesn't matter if your favorite cartoon character is Duke, Sergeant Slaughter or even Cobra; this cartoon still leaves you in awe despite the long period of time that has gone by.

If you haven't noticed yet, there's actually a new G.I. Joe movie coming out not too long from now. And it features all of your favorite Joes and villains all coming to real life. This movie is definitely one movie to look out for this summer. If you don't want to be lost when watching the movie, maybe you should think about brushing up on your Joes by watching the cartoon series one more time. And besides, the cartoon is awesome so it's a win-win situation.

2. Aside from all the entertainment you're getting, you'd be learning a few things at the side as well.

Surprised? Okay, maybe not. Well anyway, it is true that you will learn a thing or two when watching the Joes in action. It may not be some military tactics or some spy tips; what you learn here though is something more valuable than you think.

Values like honesty and integrity are being taught in this show episode after episode. And quite obviously, patriotism and loyalty to one's own country is also taught in this cartoon. So the next time you see guns blazing and cannons firing don't think about senseless fun and big bangs; instead, think about why they're fighting in the first place.
