Four Types Of Music

Music comes in different forms. Each form has its own trademark sound. Since each individual is unique, it is only natural for them to have different choices in music. Some music are light to the ears while others are not. It would not be a good idea to force your type of music on someone who prefers something else.

Music is universal; it may come in different forms but it still takes a voice and the synchronization of acoustics and percussions in order to create a sound worth listening to.

1. Hip Hop music. This is the type of musical genre that is popular among teenagers. This type of music is said to have originated from the Bronx, New York among African Americans during the 70s.

Hip hop is comprised of rhythmic beats and rhyming words known as rap. Some famous hip hop artists are Chris Brown, Soulja Boy, Nelly and many more. Hip hop music is also known as rap music and is part of the hip hop culture which is comprised of baggy pants, loose shirts, lots of blings and of course baseball hats.

2. Rock Music. Rock music has come a long way. It has been believed that rock music started around the 50s. Rock music is usually created through the interplay of acoustics and percussions. When we speak of rock the first thing that comes to our mind is lots of shouting and tons of drum beats mixed with the sound coming from an electric guitar. Some famous rock artists are Guns n' Roses famous for their song Sweet Child of Mine and My Chemical Romance who made famous the song Welcome To the Black Parade.

3. Classical Music. This is perhaps the oldest form of music. When we hear the word classical music the first thing that comes to our mind is the Opera and Orchestra. Then we think about the musical prodigy of Mozart and the talent of Beethoven.

Classical music is composed of various subtypes. Most of these are used on liturgical services and of course on Broadway. To create classical music, a lot of instruments have to be used such as the violin, cello, trumpet and many more. Classical music can be very relaxing because most of these don't have any lyrics so all you have to do is listen and enjoy the sound.

4. Pop Music. This is the most popular musical genre. The word “pop” is in fact derived from the word “popular.” So when we speak of pop music think about the songs being sung by Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera.

Pop music is more subtle when compared to rock and the lyrics are more distinct and easy to understand compared to hip hop. Pop songs usually talk about love and relationship and of course life. Some famous pop songs are Kiss Me Baby One More Time, Womanizer, Sexy Back and Genie In A Bottle.

Whatever your type of music is as long as you are enjoying it then don't stop listening to it. Listening to your favourite music will surely help you relax.
